-You will visit the modern and colonial parts of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting at the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, and passing along a β€œhuaca” or sacred pre-Inca site, before heading to the Historic Center. There, you will walk along some of the most historically important streets of the city, leading to the Plaza de Armas, where you will have some time to take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. You will also have the chance to take a peek into an iconic building, that has served Lima’s citizens for centuries and continues to be an important landmark. Then you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building with colonial style. After exploring the Historical Center, you will head towards the Larco Museum, which houses the incomparable Treasures of Ancient Peru private collection.

One of the most important tourist landmarks in the world awaits us: Machu Picchu! Our adventure will begin aboard the train to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, a picturesque town at the foot of the emblematic Inca citadel.
-During the train ride we can enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings, with impressive views of majestic mountains, the Vilcanota River and small towns of the Peruvian Andes; a visual feast that fills us with anticipation for the visit to the wonder that is Machu Picchu. After a short bus ride from Aguas Calientes we will find ourselves in front of one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World – an unforgettable sight! From there, we will explore the ancient ruins, learning all about the history and mysteries that this mystical and impressive place holds. Surrounded by incomparable landscapes, there will be no shortage of spectacular photo opportunities! Once we have recharged ourselves with the magical energy of Machu Picchu, we will return to Aguas Calientes where we will have free time to have lunch and explore the streets a bit before boarding our return train.

DAY 8: CUZCO – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN – CUZCO (B/L/D)
-Early breakfast at the hotel. Depart for your Rainbow Mountain Tour.
-You will leave your hotel in Cuzco early in the morning, crossing the South Valley, towards Cusipata. From there, you will be transferred to Phulawasipata where you will begin your walk. After some time to prepare, you will start with the ascending route to Vinicunca, the Rainbow Mountain. The place will amaze you with its vivid colors and natural beauty. There, you will have time to take photos and fill yourself with the energy of the place. Depending on time, you might continue your walk towards the Red Valley, where you will appreciate a beautiful landscape of mountains of red dirt. There, you will also have time to appreciate the place and take photos. At the end of this visit, you will walk back to the starting point.

-You will visit the city of Cusco, known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you will start your tour at the iconic San Pedro Market, a local market where you can explore the colors, flavors and traditions of modern Cusco. The visit continues with the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will explore Q’enqo Archeological Site, where important Inca ceremonies took place. Finally, you will arrive to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city.
-In the early evening, transfer to the airport for your flight to La Paz, Bolivia (via Lima).

-La Paz, this marvelous city is located in a valley at the foothills of the Andes Range, situated at 3,632m / 11942 ft. above sea level. The tour goes through Gold, Murillo and Costumbrista Museums also visit to the viewpoint β€œMirador de Killi Killi”, from where there is a magnificent view over La Paz. There will also be a visit to various street markets including a traditional market where traditional agricultural products from the highlands, such as quinoa, tunta, chuΓ±o (dehydrated potato) and oca (sweet tuber) are sold; the Witch Market, where locals buy supplies for ritual ceremonies like the Ch’alla and also offerings to the Pachamama (Mother Earth). Ride by cable car β€œTelefΓ©rico”, it’s a good choice to discover an excellent and beautiful view of La Paz. The tour passes through the modern, affluent residential area of the city before concluding in the Valley of the Moon, where a clay mountain has been impressively shaped by erosion.

DAY 11: LA PAZ – UYUNI (B/L/-)

-Upon arrival, pick-up at the airport and take a half-day tour of Colchani & Uyuni Salt Flats with picnic

-Our day begins with the visit of the famous Train Cemetery, located only 8min away from Uyuni Town. This place is known for the remains of steam locomotives that have persisted since the 19th and 20th centuries. Later, in Colchani we will observe the salt extraction methods used by the local people in their artisanal fabrics. We will then enter the incredible Uyuni Salt Flats, with more than 12,000 km2 of pure salt. Visit the β€œStairs to Heaven” which is one of the works of the renowned Bolivian artist, Gaston Ugalde. It is a staircase made of salt that is located in the middle of the Uyuni Salt Flat. It is an interesting stop to have nice pictures. Then, we will see the β€œEyes of the Salt.” These are the outlets for subterranean rivers flowing under the Uyuni Salt Flat. The waters flowing from inside the salt flat have particular acidic concentrations and are considered medicinal waters by the locals. Continue our journey to Incahuasi Island, which is a unique oasis and isolated ecosystem that is populated by giant cactuses up to 10 meters high.

DAY 12: UYUNI (B/L/D)
-After breakfast, enjoy Full-Day Tour with picnic lunch. Proceed north until we arrive at the feet of the majestic Tunupa Volcano. We will visit Coquesa and their famous β€œmummies”, which are from preColumbian time. Also, on the same salt flats we will have the chance to take the funny β€œperspective” pictures. Our driver and guide will help us. They are already experts in this subject.
-Finally, when returning to Uyuni, we will enjoy a beautiful sunset, which is one of the most beautiful moments that we will see in this place. The effect caused by the colors of the sun together with the salt make us have a spectacular landscape. It’s a great time to get great photos.

The Perito Moreno Glacier rises majestically 80 km away from El Calafate. This is one of the largest and the only advancing glaciers in the world, as well as the biggest attraction at Los Glaciares National Park, a 600,000-hectare protected area covered by an ice mantle. We drive through the Patagonian Andean Forest and make a first breathtaking stop at β€œCurva de los Suspiros” (Breathtaking Curve), where we enjoy a first view of this incredible natural wonder. When we approach the glacier, we will walk down the wooden catwalks to approach the Glacier and admire from different panoramic points this wonderful creation of Mother Nature. We will be able to contemplate from a close range when varied-sized ice blocks loosen and drop into the water Lake with a great thunder, becoming beautiful ice floes in the deep waters of the Lago Argentino. This day will be an unforgettable experience, a once in a lifetime delight.

DAY 17: EL CALAFATE – USHUAIA (B/-/D)

-Only 12 km west from the southernmost city in the world, we find Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only one in Ushuaia. We will be able to appreciate the varied local flora, including different types of trees, bushes, flowers and fauna, including both native and introduced animals, such as Andean foxes, beavers, rabbits, and over 90 bird species. In this half-day tour, we visit Ensenada, Roca Lake, Lapataia Bay, and walk short distances around the lake, beaver dams, and the bay itself, very close to the Chilean Border.
